Parent Checklist
Every parent and guardian is invited and encouraged to get involved in some way - big or small. It is a lot of fun! Our hope is that ALL seniors of the Class of 2024 take part in this incredible experience! We know there is A LOT of information to keep track of with a graduating student. This checklist is to help you keep on top of all things related to the EHS Senior Party.
1. Learn more about the Edina Senior Party
This year’s party takes place on Tuesday June 4th, 2024, immediately following commencement. Students will be bused from Mariucci Arena to Edina High School for the party. The party ends at 2:30 AM.

2. Register / Purchase your Senior’s Ticket to the Party
Deadline: April 30, 2024 (price increases on May 1)
All Seniors Must Be Registered in Advance to Enter the Party. Tickets are $125. prior to May 1st. On May 1st, the ticket price increases to $175. You can register your student and purchase their ticket here. (No senior is denied entrance due to lack of funds. If you find it difficult to pay the full ticket price, partial and full assistance tickets are available.)
3. Submit your student’s Kindergarten/Senior Photos
The deadline to submit was Monday, April 15, 2024.
We will continue the tradition of the Kindergarten to Senior Hallway. We ask that you submit two digital images of your student as a kindergartner (or around that age) and as a senior. It’s best to use a head shot or close-up photo. For detailed information, please click here.
4. Create your “Senior Body”
Deadline: April 26, 2024 for printing; dropped off at EHS on Tuesday, May 7th or Thursday, May 9th.
The “Bodies” are a life sized, full body photo of your senior that are used to decorate the school. In past years, students have been photographed wearing a team uniform, t-shirt/sweatshirt of the college they are going to attend, or have used a senior photo. Note: they should be of the whole body, not just a head shot. For detailed information, please click here.
5. Order your Yard Sign and/or Personalized Banner
Sales closed on Tuesday, April 16, 2024
Celebrate your senior with a EHS Class of 2024 Yard Sign and/or personalized banner. Yard signs are $30. Banners can be personalized with a name (up to 40 letters) and are $75. Both will be available for pick up at the high school on Tuesday, May 7, or Thursday, May 9, 2024. Perfect for graduation parties - and sales help support the Senior Party! Order here.
6. Volunteer
95% of the hard work and volunteer hours that go into making this event successful occur before the party even starts. We are currently in need of A LOT of help in the warehouse…painting, taping, cutting…helping to make the decorations committee’s vision come to life. Please sign up for a shift - or several.
We will also need A TON of help leading up to the party and especially on the big night! So, please sign up to volunteer - we can’t make this happen without all of you! There are a variety of roles that we need filled, so click on the different tabs across the top of the document to learn more.
7. Stay Connected
If you'd like to receive notifications about the senior party, please sign up to be on our email list. Due to privacy issues, we cannot obtain your address from school. Your email address will be kept in confidence. Please add us to your safe sender list so we don't end up in your spam folder. You can also join our Facebook and Instagram Edina Senior Party Parent Groups to stay up to date on all of the excitement.
8. Donate and Fundraise
The Senior Party is a self-funded event and receives no money from the school district. In addition to proceeds from registration fees, we rely on fundraisers throughout the year and prize donations for the night of the party. Your financial donation allows us to provide scholarships so ALL graduating students can attend, regardless of financial situation. Help us make this a memorable night for every student. 9. Spread the Word!
We want all EHS Class of 2024 students and parents to be a part of the excitement surrounding the Senior Party. Please help spread the word about the party to your friends, neighbors, and any families with a graduating student.
